Myself and Other More Important Matters
Europe’s greatest Management Guru,Charles Handy will be speaking about his new book ‘Myself and Other More Important Matters’ at Manchester Business School at a Breakfast briefing on May 5th ‘06.
Charles Handy was, for many years, a professor at the London Business School. He is now an independent writer and broadcaster. He describes himself, these days, as a social philosopher.
He will be sharing the pearls of his wisdom and secrets of his success and experiences at the school.

‘Myself and Other More Important Matters’ ….I wonder by placing the word “myself” before “other more important matters” actually means that self is more important. In my office, there is this girl who always sends out emails beginning with “me, myself, I and others…blah..blah”…very self absorbed.
On another note, going to business guru seminars is great. They are often motivational and can tell you something that you’ve heard a million times but just won’t believe. This guy sounds pretty cool though. Have fun!
